Warranty

Trigard warrants its DuraSheenTM finish for a period of fifteen (15) years from the date of product shipment. This limited warranty applies only to Trigard bronze, aluminum, copper or stainless steel product lines. Trigard warrants that for the fifteen (15) years after the product shipment date its DuraSheen® will:

  1. Resist cracking, flaking, or blistering
  2. Resist chalking and discoloration due to ultra violet rays
  3. Not change color more than five (5) Delta-E Hunter units (square root of the sum of Delta L, Delta A, and Delta B) as determined by ASTM method D-2244. It is acknowledged that fading or color changes may not be uniform if the surfaces are not equally exposed to the sun and elements. Item C applies to Brilliant Impressions products only.

Any product, which proves defective during the warranty period, will be repaired or replaced at our option when returned to the factory. Trigard will not incur any costs associated with uninstalling or reinstalling the product(s) in question. Trigard agrees to pay freight on approved warranty failures.

Exclusion: No repair or replacement will be made for a DuraSheenTM coated product beyond the initial fifteen (15) years, or which has been subjected to improper usage, accidents, negligence, willful mishandling, chemical damage, improper cleaning or decorating by others, fumes or vapors from environment, fumes and vapors directly applied to the products, spray from unfiltered lawn sprinklers or unfiltered irrigation systems, normal wear and tear, vandalism, or failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance of the product. Warranty is void if modifications or alterations are made by others. Warranty is not transferable. Warranty does not apply to mounting apparatus. Warranty does not cover damage caused by faulty or improper installation or application of the product, settlement, distortion, warping, failure or cracking of the materials to which the product is mounted or attached, bending or twisting of the support structures, earthquakes, hurricane, tornado, cyclone, gale, lightning, flood, fire, windborne objects, direct hits from maintenance equipment, ice and hail damage, weather incidents of a catastrophic nature or Acts of God.

LIMITED LIABILITY: Trigard’s sole responsibility with respect to DuraSheen coated products, whether based on breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence or other claim, will be to repair such product or to replace. GREENWOOD INC., D/B/A/ AS TRIGARD SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, NOT FOR LABOR, REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION COSTS. GREENWOOD INC., D/B/A/ reserves the right to discontinue or make changes in products if a product warranted therein is not available to make a replacement hereunder.

NOTICE AND INSPECTION: If you think the installed product may qualify warranted defects, promptly after discovery, explain your problem to: Trigard Bronze, 1125 N. Kimball St., Danville, IL 61832, ATTN: Warranty Issue Dept. or Email to orders@trigard.com and place in subject line Warranty Issues. Color photographs must be included.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. However, you may have other rights, which may vary from state to state.
